Undocumented & Unafraid: Chicago Coming Out Stories

On March 10th, 2010 8 youth from the Immigrant Youth Justice League conducted an action in Chicago’s Federal Plaza called National Coming Out of the Shadows day. Listen to the 8 speeches right here:

My name is Ireri

My name is Nico

My name is David

My name is Reyna

My name is Uriel

My name is Tania

My name is Hugo

My name is David (yes, we have two Davids)

If you like these, you may also want to visit our “Just Sound” for more audio by undocumented youth.

We also just uploaded Tania’s “What does it mean to come out” speech, and two stories in Spanish, listen here.
