Join us on Saturday June 14th at 6PM for the opening reception and panel discussion of the “I Define Myself: Undocumented & Unafraid” Portrait Project.

This Inside Out Project was originally housed at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum. The portrait project was subsequently featured at each of the UIC Centers For Cultural Understanding & Social Change.

The project combines the Coming Out of the Shadows and Inside Out campaigns which both seek to share stories of personal identity by making the private, public.

Panelists to include: Jocelyn Munguia Fearless Undocumented Alliance), Yaxal Sobrevilla (UIC Heritage Garden), Arianna Salgado (Immigrant Youth Justice League), and Fanny López (featured in the project).

Entrance to this event is free. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
